Types of Extinguisher

We supply and service the full range of portable fire extinguishers. The correct type and placement depends on the fire risks present in your building — we carry out a survey and recommend the right solution.

Water Extinguishers

For Class A fires involving solid combustibles such as wood, paper and textiles. The most common type for general office and retail environments.

Foam (AFFF) Extinguishers

Effective on Class A and Class B (flammable liquid) fires. Suitable for offices, warehouses and workshops.

CO₂ Extinguishers

For Class B and electrical fires. Essential near server rooms, switchboards and electrical equipment — leaves no residue.

Dry Powder Extinguishers

Multi-purpose for Class A, B and C fires. Common in industrial, workshop and vehicle environments.

Wet Chemical Extinguishers

Specifically designed for Class F fires involving cooking oils and fats. Required in commercial kitchens.

Specialist Extinguishers

Lithium battery, D-class metals and clean agent extinguishers for specialist environments and high-value equipment.
