What We Offer

Emergency lighting is a legal requirement in virtually all non-domestic buildings. We design systems that ensure safe passage along escape routes, illuminate exit signage and provide standby lighting in high-risk areas — all compliant with current regulations.

Escape Route Lighting

Illumination along corridors, stairwells and exit routes to guide occupants safely out of the building during a mains failure.

Open Area / Anti-Panic Lighting

Reduces the risk of panic in large open spaces by providing sufficient light to reach an escape route.

High-Risk Task Area Lighting

Maintains visibility in areas where a sudden loss of light could cause danger — machinery rooms, plant rooms and laboratories.

Exit Signage

Illuminated and non-illuminated exit signs positioned to clearly indicate escape routes from any point within the building.

Self-Contained & Central Battery

Self-contained units with integral batteries, or central battery systems for larger buildings requiring centralised control and monitoring.

Testing & Maintenance

Monthly function tests, annual full-duration discharge tests and detailed log book records to satisfy BS 5266-1 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Compliance

  • Designed and installed to BS 5266-1:2016
  • Compliant with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
  • Full photometric design calculations and as-fitted documentation
  • Ongoing maintenance contracts with scheduled testing and certification
