What We Offer

Under the Equality Act 2010 and Building Regulations Approved Document B, buildings must provide safe refuge areas with communication systems for people who cannot use stairs during an evacuation. We design and install compliant disabled refuge alarm systems for all building types.

Refuge Call Points

Robust, vandal-resistant call points installed at each designated refuge area with clear signage and tactile operation.

Central Control Panels

Master panels at the building entrance or fire control room, allowing two-way voice communication with each refuge point.

Type A & Type B Systems

Type A systems for buildings with a permanent staffed control point. Type B systems with automatic telephone dialler for unmanned buildings.

Testing & Maintenance

Regular testing with full report sheets, system log books and maintenance contracts to ensure ongoing compliance.
